Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, Jeb Bush, Chris Christie John Kasich, and Rand Paul all were at their podiums tonight but no Trump to be seen. When asked what Ted Cruz thought of this he replied, “I want to thank everyone here, for showing up, and showing the men and women of Iowa the respect to show up and make the case to the people of this state and the people of the country why each of us believe we would make the best commander and chief.” This was taken as a large hit at Trump, although he did not say anything about the comment.
